COOL MOMENT: That Special Someone

Well, I think it’s a cool moment.  But then again, I am strange.

Pardon the non-fashion post, but I just needed some small bytes of space to write down some things.  I promise to fashionable afterwards today if not tomorrow. )

In RL, we go about our business, living our everyday lives.  And sometimes we are lucky enough during that routine to run into someone who winds up meaning a lot to us.

In SL, it’s pretty much the same.  We log in, hang out with family and friends, shop, party….  And in all that, if we are lucky, we bump into another pixelated being who makes us feel special and loved.

I guess I’m living my lucky moment now.  In both worlds.

Thank you baby for finding me and taking me into your heart and into your life.  I love you so very much.

Ok, mushy moment done….for now at least. )

COOL MOMENT: SL Blogland

I love getting little Christmas presents.  Because in the end, it’s the small things that count.

COOL MOMENTS: Aly on Halloween

As promised, here I am in my Halloween costume.  Isn’t it yummy?

This is “The Halloween Enchantress” by Last Call and Celestial Studios.  And with Mega Pack in hand, I put together my combination that simply made this costume a showstopper.

Hats off again to Ginny and Starley.  You do wonderful work.

COOL MOMENT: SL Blogger Party

Aly aka Ms. Purple Robot Thing

Ok, so maybe it makes me sound like a dork….But even in SL, when you run into people you’ve only known about and through places like Flickr and their own blogs, you feel like you’ve come face to face with that elusive celebrity.  You know what I mean??

Anyway, went to the SL Bloggers Party on Sunday at the Code Red Lounge.  And despite the whining from my laptop’s hard drive, it was awesome!!

The theme was robots, so I looked for three days for a costume I liked.  Finally found it (purple of course) and joined the party.  I saw some familiar names – Codie, Vint, Raul, Ryker – and some that were not familiar.  But everyone was having a great time and, in turn, so did I.

Here are the pics I was able to grab before harddrive meltdown.  Many many thanks to Vint & Codie for putting on the party.  I had a great time!! )

COOL MOMENT: Putting a Face with a Blog

Ok, my cool moment of the weekend was:

Meeting JellyBean face to face and finally putting a pixelated face with the blog I read on a daily basis.

Thank you Jelly for letting Cera and I help out on the video!!  It was awesome!!  I can’t believe that all got done in a matter of a weekend.
