Ok, so this post is behind schedule.  However, it is also the first post with THIS MANY PICTURES!!!  OMG, over 30 outfits I photographed and that wasn’t even everything in my inventory!

Why so many?  Because I loooooove what Solange creates!  And I own most of it because she throws awesome sales – most of my collection was obtained during a 100L sale.

What is so great about Solange?  Versatility.  Creativity.  Vitality.  There is such variety in what she offers.  And yes, you will see fantasy outfits and you will see a lot of silks.  But you have to think outside the box!  Don’t just sit there and think you  have to be collared to enjoy these creations.  Silks are HELLA sexy and are a great way to tease your partner! 

And every outfit I put on from Solange feels so bright and so alive.  Very vibrant.  It’s just a fun place to shop!

So here we go, the amazing onslaught of picture goodness featuring the awesome designs of Solange Cerveau!

Definitely have to start with a display of skin flaunting goodies!  Don’t these look like just yummy?  The top two are the most fun for me!  Trouble is just as it sounds……trouble!   Slave for Fashion should be a must have for every blogger to where whilst shopping so as to easily identify each other!  But from the fun at the top, you have such soft and sexy yumminess in Shalenas and Sophia.  So pretty.

Girlie goodness! Lotsa skirts and flirty tops! OMG, love it!  Sassy and Sassy Dots are among Solange’s latest releases and I am loving the subtle texture work on them.  I love the detailing on the top of the Tequila skirt and pants.  Sweet is just a comfy and cute outfit.  I think I wore it for almost a month when I first got it.  Candy….yummmmmy!  Is that not sexy or what?

Some softness….some sexiness.  Petalwing, Amore 2.0 and Romance are beautiful pieces for you to share with your loved one…or ones….or hell, just pamper yourself with them!  Slide is a great dress for those nights you just wanna shake your money maker.  Dare is one of my top faves, mainly because I just love how the top looks.  Great texture.  Mademoiselle has some great depth to it, with the detailing of the corset and the sculpted wrist cuffs.

Fiesta is my most favoritest piece from Solange yet.   It’s just…wow.  Even though it’s labeled as a silk, I could so easily wear this on a beach.  It’s just soooo pretty.  Aphrodisia is tintable as well as Infatuation, so you color freaks can go nuts!  Elan is so something I would wear in RL.  That’s just uber comfiness for me.  Missy is way cute and I love the sweater texturing.  Devotion is like THE goddess silk.  You either feel like a princess or a goddess in it.  The prim work is amazing and is all together a fantastic piece.

This section is entitled “The Short and the Long of It”. LOL yeah, I’m getting punchy and my humor is warped to begin with!  Daydream is demure and pretty while Saturday is elegant and sexy.  Highland Hipbanger….this is just a fun outfit!  It’s like…Braveheart meets Dominatrix…I think…or something like that lol!  I dunno, but I’m loving it!  Devotion, Because and Allure are all cute little dresses, great staples for any wardrobe.

Remember I said I photographed a whole lot?  Yeah, I didn’t realize I photographed Tequila Sweater Set twice in two different colors until I uploaded to Flickr.  So shush.  Whiskey is a cool night out outfit.  The lace skirt is uber cute and the layering effect on the top is great.   BOOM is a flirty dress that comes in so many different colors, you can probably find one to match your favorite pair of shoes.  Back to some skin showing, Elegance is just that….an elegant piece of lingerie.  At first I didn’t think I’d like the tail piece, but it grew on me and actually adds depth to the whole outfit.  The Peacock Silk (despite what you might think the name would imply) is very simple and elegant.  The gold edging texture makes it stand out.

Butterfly had to be by itself. It’s just a creation unto itself.  I don’t care what your feeling are towards silk or fantasy or anything.  But there is no way you can put on this piece…..and NOT like it…and just stare it in awe.  That’s all I have to say.  Go ahead and stare for a little bit before reading on.

So there you have it.  All the variety and uniqueness that is Solange.  I dare you to go there and not find at least three outfits that you don’t immediately grab up and buy.

But remember….I’m broke.  So…..I won’t owe you anything if you try to be a smartass and not buy three.   So shush again.

FASHION: Indyra Originals

To get the train rolling ahead, I hit up my inventory for the goodness that is Indyra Originals.  At the hand of its namesake – Indyra Seigo – I.O. (yeah, I’m a lazy bish lol) boasts funky fresh fashions with an eye for detail.  I have been an I.O. customer from my newbie days wayyyyyyy back in late 2006, early 2007.  I have seen it grown and develop into a well rounded offering of fashion for those who want to stand out and be seen to those who just want to be sexy for their loved ones.

Indyra puts her talents to great work here, using prims and sculpties to bring her ideas to virtual life. She has come a long way from the early days and has cemented herself as an established and talented designer in the SL Fashion world.

So enough of the verbiage.  Let’s go drool over some clothes, shall we?

Great timing on this release as I was just about to hit post when Indyra sent this down the pipeline. Her newest release for July, the Bon Charme Jacket is my favorite of the three. The details on it are amazing, down to the chains and jewelry prims. Resizeable, so have no fear of spending your hard earned Lindens to have to sit there for hours on end trying to stretch and pull each part to make it fit your avie. The cowl-neck is way sexy…..always a plus to tease in a little bewbage.  The jacket, top and shorts are all available in a variety of colors, so mix and match to your heart’s content.

I think this may be my favorite outfit for a while. It’s just too friggin hawt. The J’aime Jeans are offered in three washes: Black, Brown and Blue. So just pick your favorite wash and match it with the J’aime Tank you like, and you’re set to go. Oh, and the tank comes in a see-through option as well! I love the Marina Belt. Resizeable and the texture is just amazing. And what girl can’t use some funky silver hoops? Love ‘em!

Again, one of the many things I love of I.O. is how the details make the outfits. Prim and sculpted pieces give outfits such depth in a virtual world. The flexi pieces of the Leo top, the collar and shoulder pieces of Halcion, and the collar on Armada….small things that just bring such a depth to an outfit. Wonderful.

These go from innocent to sweet to ahem…naughty! C’est Facile is simple yet elegant. The detail on the sculpted piece of the top just makes the whole thing. Davenport keeps it sweet and I love the arm piece. Fairfield Prep is just a nauuuughty outfit! You can even buy a matching skirt to give everyone a little show!

If I liked wearing dresses in RL, I would sooo wear Milana. It’s simple and pretty. Princesa was acquired at the Fashion Expo in 2008. And Indyra still has it in her store offerings! It’s just funky freshness. What I love on Joya is the flexi front ruffleage. Again, depth is what makes it real!

SoCal is a great outfit for the clubs or a night out. A little midriff never hurt anyone! The L’Ardent dress is just spectacular. The detailing on the designs of the flexi is great. I paired it with the Celeste Jeweled Collar, which does not appear to be offered anymore (I swear I looked Indyra!! I even used Emerald Search). But it’s a great piece of jewelry to have.

This is merely a miniscule offering of what Indyra Originals has.  I didn’t even show any of the shoes!!!  But you need to just go and see for yourself.  I’m sure you will find at least one or two outfits you will love…or three….or four or five……

FASHION: League

It’s Friday!  It’s a three-day weekend!  IT’S BLOGGGGGGG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m getting back on the blogging treadmill and I’m giving myself a great boost with this designer.  Nena is the wonderful designer behind League.  When I was first introduced to League, a friend showed me a pic of one of her designs on SLX.  From that day, I knew League was going to be an awesome place to find one of a kind creations.

League has grown from originally being focuses primarily on steampunk-influenced designs to just fun outfits (still keeping some awesome apocalyptic offerings!).  But why does League appeal to me?  Well, that’s simple.  The creations are just amazing to look at.  The detailing in the littlest things such as buttons and laces to the patterns of colors…. I’m not sure, but I think a lot of Nena does is hand drawn.  But…I’m just guessing.

Her creations are sleek….they are fun….they are cool.  You’ll be able to see that almost immediately when you scan my coveted items below, which is only a sampling of what League offers.  Nena has also recently dived into skin design and from what I hear, she has done a wonderful job doing so.  I would have bought and blogged a skin too….but…you ALL know by now…I SUCK ASS at skin reviews lol!  The most I will see is “it’s pretty!!!  thank you!!!” I leave skin reviews to those bloggers that have the knowledge to review it intelligently!!!

I think I’m a texture junkie (or is this not news to anyone?).  I completely fall in love with clothing that has the most amazing textures – both in design and pattern.

That’s why I love Zaara’s stuff.  Her texture talent is amazing.  Some of her clothes have such realistic textures that they appear ready to jump out of the screen.  Mix that with her passion for Indian-inspired couture and you have amazing and unique works of passion.

FASHION: Nyte’N'Day

Ok, so I was working on this post for a few days because first, SL decided to pull an interesting trick and not give me pieces to packages I purchased from Nyte’N'Day – which was later resolved and quickly so by Nyte (thank you!!!).  Second, for some foolish reason, I thought I could fit five pics in one row for a blog post.  Yeah….doesn’t really work lol!

I have fond memories of NND (hey! I’m allowed to initialize! so p!) as being one of the very first stores I frequented as a shopper and blooming shopaholic.  I remember the old build with the two rather narrow staircases in the middle and watching myself plummet to the ground because I still had trouble negotiating stairs with no railings or walls.  But the clothes….the clothes were great.  I remember buying them (at a great price too!), putting them on, looking at my av, and going “wow”.  Something for every mood and the detailing was great.

Not much has changed recently (except the build, thank goodness! p).  I still walk in the door and stare in amazement at the numerous offerings, each wonderfully detailed in rich colors to suit whatever mood I’m in:  fancy, casual, sexy…..even weird!  Nyte does such wonderful work and I smile each time I see a new release.

So to give you a taste, I have highlighted some of my favs below.  Most of them are rather recent, but even the oldies are guaranteed goodies!

So I guess this is my “above the knee” group lol!  Just look at the colors…very yummy.  And I only boosted the color 30%.  I think my absolute fav of the group is Piccilo.  It’s just the cutest little summery dress/date dress/flirty dress/etc.etc.etc.  The cut, the flexi, the pattern…I just love it.  But each one of these is great and just by looking, you can immediately see how your style changes with each one.  Variety….is wonderful.

From above the knee to floor length… These are great dresses.  I think my fav of the bunch here is Filly.  The corset-style on the top accentuates the curves.  And we know that us girls love our curves!  Again, colors are rich and the styles are amazing.

And on to the “show some skin” group! ) Hard to pick a fav here.  Entice is gorgeous lingerie (I think Jelly is having an impact on me again…where did all this pink come from?).  Frayed is teasingly sexy.  And Evade is just gorgeous.  Too difficult to pick one.  Love ‘em all.

And this would be the “oh yes…there are pants” group.  My fav is Ginger (duh!).  It’s casual and sexy and I loooooove the belt.  But Phant has a great pattern and Incal is awesome in casual (there is a hoodie even though you can’t see it). 

You can see from above the endless amounts of variety and versatility that you can find at NND.  Nyte creates a style for every mood, so basically she is just encouraging us shopaholics! ;op

I would also like to mention that some of her creations have a purple (woot!) version that is usually sold separately with the profits going to the Lupus Canada organization for research into the disease and how to eventually cure it.  Purple rawks!

FASHION: Soul Mirror

WARNING!!  Almost bewbage alert!! LOL!!  It’s still PG, but ummm yeah….sexiness overload is on its way!!

It’s summer…it’s getting hot….scratch that, it is hot.  So time for some hot outfits!

Soul Mirror is an undiscovered gem shining in the depths of SL fashion.  Julitcha Messmer takes her fun attitude and puts it all into her designs.  She brings sexiness and fun to each of her detailed outfits that you can’t help but stare at yourself.  Well, at least for a little while. ;o)

- “Twist” is so very the hot clubbing/salsa outfit any girl needs.  The texture is great and the cut is done juuuuuust so that the bewbs look like they are happy just being there and being girly.  Absolutely love it.

- “Tropicana” is ready for the beach.  The halter is way cute and the skirt is just the right length to show off the essentials on the sand.  I just love the form of the entire outfit.  And yes, the outfit does come with the hair flower! ;o)

- “Temptation” I think is my favorite.  And not just because I bought it in purple.  I love the textures on it.  The cute is great and the sheer sleeves is just the right accent.  I just….love it! )

- “Glint” probably needs no explanation lol!  I’m lucky Julitcha stopped cutting, otherwise we’d be seeing…..something….not PG rated!! LOL!!  Seriously though, this is a great little number.  It’s fun, it’s flirty, it’s friggin hot as hell!!  Yumminess!!!

- “Afternoon” is another one I’m in love with.  I think it’s because of the top.  I love the tie in the middle, I love how it forms and sits.  The texture is simple yet amazing.  I just love it.

- “Horizon” is casual sweetness.  (yes, we did cover up the bewbage for this one! LOL) It’s just comfy, that’s all I really have to say lol.  The outfit came with the pants as shown as well as shorts, so you can pair them up as you feel.

- “Eclipse” is probably my new favorite L.B.D.  This is perfect for a date.  The skirt sits just right and it’s simple and clean.  Loving it.

Fashion Expo Fashion Show – Items for Auction

Wow.  I can’t believe it came and went that quick.  But I had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat (and preferably with a better lappytop lol!).

I’ll post later after the expo is done about my experience.  But right now, I want to show you the items that I modeled at the Fashion Show that are up for auction right now.  Remember that all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Second Life.

The first piece I modeled was this great design from Digit Darkes, called “Mi Swing es Tropical”.  It’s got a great texture and the skirt is wild and sexy.  The more I wore this, the more it grew on me.  It’s an absolutely wonderful creation and shmexily (yes, a new word!) fun.  What I wore with it:

This is the dress…that if it wasn’t going up for auction…I would never let go.  This is “Karma”, created by Zaara Kohime of Zaara’s Indian Couture.  The texture, the design, the flow…it’s just stunning.  When I received the pic of this dress that I was going to be modeling, my jaw hit the floor.  Zaara is wonderfully talented and this piece speaks volumes.  What I wore with it:

FASHION: Adored Clothing

Ok…..apparantly, I own skirts.  And apparantly…..I like owning skirts.

Skirts are fun.  Skirts are cute.  Skirts are sexy.

And that’s what AmySue makes.  Fun.  Cute.  Sexy.  And no, she doesn’t make just skirts!

Adored Clothing makes your little girlie avatar look cute and sexy and like you are just there to have fun. (did I mention that already?) AmySue fills her mainstore with an array of pants outfits, skirt outfits, formal dresses, costumes…..even shoes, hats and hair.  And every item has her own touch, making it truly an Adored item.  Below are my favorites that I wanted to share with you that will truly give you an idea of what Adored Clothing can bring to your sexy avie.

~* Kylie in Black & Red, Lyric in Black *~

- Kylie:  well, I had to start off with a non-skirt outfit so you would believe me! (although, the set does come with a skirt lol!).  Very clean, the high-waisted pants keeps your curves with the outfit, making it simply sexy wiithout showing much.  Of course, the peekaboo in the cleavage never hurts.

- Lyric:  this is such a unique dress.  The asymetrical layering in the skirt makes the dress salsa-esque, but elegant enough to wear to the most formal of affairs.  Beautiful and sexy.

- Cowgirl:  yeah, I know.  Still no skirts.  But they’re coming!!  So here is the….ermmm…skin pic lol.  We start off with this awesomely sexy cuteness in a cowgirl costume.  And AmySue even gives you the option of buying the cowboy hat with color changeable hair to go with it.  Very very very sexy.  Watch out for hotness here.

- Sophia:  I was so happy when I found this in my inventory.  I put it on and I was like, “wow!  That is hot!”.  The little detailing on the entire outfit makes the outfit pop and….well…yeah…your loved one will be loving you. ;o)

- Valerie:  told you they were coming!  Valerie is the casual cutie.  I LOOOOOVE the corset type vest over the open button down shirt.  It brings such detail to the outfit.  The prim cuffs give more depth and the skirt is just cute.  So there. p

- Clarisse:  this is an interesting outfit as it incorporates the camo design in only a small portion.  But it works.  It gives the dress an urban feel that is very appealing.  And AmySue also includes boots to go with it (sorry!  I realized after the fact I didn’t include the WHOLE boot.  But you get an idea.).  Cute and sexy yet again.

- Renee:  ok, I had to have my purple.  You all know this.  This….is a hot clubbing outfit.  The skirt has flexi ribbons on each side and add either the Renee boots or your own favorite cloppers and you are ready to party it up sexxxy style.  Love it.

FASHION: ETD

My Love of ETD:  A Haiku of Hair

Ok, so a little different format for this post.  But I think it works best for such an animal as hair.  And it best shows the range of talent of Ms. Tiramisu.

ETD is one of the top names in the hair market.  And my preference.  I think I prefer ETD hair because the quality in which it is made and the detail put into it really stands out.  Many times, I’ll be wearing ETD and someone will ask, “I love that hair, where did you get it?”.  That has to be a sign that something good is going on at ETD.

So like I mentioned in my previous post…..I bought……a LOT of hair at the ETD sale.  So a good chunk of what is pictured below is relatively new.  But it will be worn.  Trust me.

My comments about ETD hair (this is a conglomerate of what I would usually write under the pics):

- To Flexi or Not to Flexi:  I will admit.  I’m a flexi-snob.  And I know I’m not alone.  So many times I went to ETD and, although I was highly tempted, I would rarely purchase a non-flexi style.  With the sale however, I did not worry what was flexi or not.  And I’m glad I didn’t.  The non-flexi styles are very well done with tons of sweet detail.  I had been eyeing “Grace” for a long time because, as you can tell, the detail of the ringlets of hair pulled back is wonderful.  I would highly recommend that you try a non-flexi style at least once a month.  I promise it won’t hurt.

- Look Ma!  I’m Wearing a Hat!:  “Willis III” is one of my favs.  Nevermind the cute pigtails sitting on the shoulders, but the hat rocks.  And when it’s built with the style rather than having me trying to fit it just right so that the hair DOES NOT stick out the top or the back…..it’s just that much better.

- Bangs:  when I do buy hair that is not ETD, it usually takes me forever because I’m just never pleased with the bangs.  Hard to explain if you’re not a girl, but ladies, you know what I’m talking about.  Add on or included, if they don’t look right, it ruins the whole style.  But Elika does a great job in the bang business.  They look soft when they need to be, minimal when they need to be, flowing in the direction they should go….  She knows what she’s doing.

As you can see, each style is unique and changes your look in the blink of an eye.

If you have never set foot in ETD, you don’t know what you are missing.  So stop waiting and go already.

FASHION: Shoes I Love

I know, I’m a little late.  But I had all the pics done and everything.  Unfortunately, I had to deal with some stuff last night.  But look!!  Here it is!!

Shoes.  Just about everyone has at least one pair.  Most women have at least five.  And if you exist in SL, more than likely you have enough to count on two hands.

I have lots of shoes.  Not that I’m a shoe nut in RL.  But again, in SL where you can look however you want, why wouldn’t you want a whole lot of shoes??

So here are some of my favorites I have in my inventory.  Hopefully you like them too!

~* Heels *~

The wonderful thing about SL is our feet will never complain about wearing heels for too long.  That said, here’s what I favor in the heel department:

- AFantasy Color Change Strappy Heels with Rivets:  color change rocks.  It makes having to match an outfit that much easier.  Plus it saves you money on having to buy every color of one shoe.  These are a good pair to have and ones I wear a lot.  The criss cross in the front makes the shoe look secure in place and the rivets are just a great design.

- Digital Dragon Designs Gold Stripe Heel Espadrilles:  I wore these with a lot of outfits over the summer.  The color is great and it’s a very simple design.  They went great with shorts and capris.

- LC Vamp Caliah in Aubergine :  these are cute with a skirt.  I don’t really know why.  But they are.  Hard to tell in the pic, but the bead hanging off the shoe is kind of purply.  Love it.  And the little bow at the front is a great little detail.  Just a really cute shoe all together.

~* Boots *~

I was actually shocked when I went through my inventory and discovered I had a relatively large selection of boots.  Hmm.  When did that happen?  My current faves:

- Hexed Black Suede Boots:  they are simple but that’s what makes them a great pair to have.  The height up the calf is really good (goes really well with a cute skirt) and the texture is very well done.

-Maitreya Dune Boots:  these boots are awesome.  I should have worn them over a pair of jeans to give you the real effect of the slouchiness style to them.  And what was wonderful about these when I got them is that Maitreya was offering them in several different calf sizes (I think three all together) with demos.  So you wouldn’t find out that when you took them home and tried them on, you had reconfigure your legs so they wouldn’t stick out.

~* Other *~

Well, they aren’t heels and they aren’t boots.  So they get the “Other” category.  They are just as important as everybody else:

- Inside Out SLeakers in Purple:  these are soooooo cute, I want a pair in RL.  These are great to pair with poodle skirt for 50s night.  But yeah.  I love ‘em.

- Digital Dragon Designs Purple Studs Clog Slippers:  great with a pair of jeans.  The studs around the edges again give an awesome design effect when you look at them.  And they just look comfy.

So there you have it.  You have seen a glimpse into the folder marked “Shoes” that resides in my inventory.  I have a feeling that folder will be growing in 2008.
