IN SEARCH OF MISSING DESIGNERS: Celestial Studios and Frangipani Designs

I have been watching these for a while now and figured since my previous post in this category was a good topic, I would post another pair.

Celestial Studios – Starley Therian

There is probably very few who have not heard of Celestial Studios or Starley Therian or both.   A member of the Quad (C.S., Last Call (now occupied by Lyra Muse’s Jaywalk), Canimal, and ETD), Starley was mainly popular for her skins.  Any minor announcement of a skin sale and the place was PACKED.  Starley also made high quality clothes, shoes and hair.  A recent addition to her store was her sister’s designs, LaLa FooFoo.

But alas, all has been silent on the Celestial front.  Starley’s blog has not seen any updates since late March (http://www.starley.com).  The in-world group notices are empty, so who only recalls when the last message was sent.  And the store seems, on a whole, unchanged.  The group list shows that Starley has been in-world rather recently.  So instead of missing designers, maybe this is just missing designs.

Frangipani Designs – Rach Snookums

Frangipani Designs had evolved into a nice assortment of quality clothing, hair and other stuff (some jewelry, some shoes).  The textures Rach used were crisp and full of detail.  Her designs were fresh and helped make your girlie avatar look like a girl.  Each new hair release showed her talent evolving with every new style. 

But now, what happened?  Rach’s blog has not had an update since early March (http://frangidesigns.blogspot.com).  The subscribeomatic’s last activity was the end of March, in which Rach was in the middle of giving out prizes to random shoppers.  The store (either side) does not appear to have changed as of recent.  And unless you are in a group with Rach or are her friend, no one can tell if she is still about.

Anyone have the trail to these missing designers/designs?  Feel free to comment!

In Search Of Missing Designers: RPD and Naughty Designs

So I was poking around my inventory, sorting out things I want to blog up soon, and my eyes caught some names that I have not heard hind nor hair of in a loooong time.

Whatever happened to….

Rising Phoenix Designs (Ariel Black) and Naughty Designs (Ambyance2 Anubis & Lost Thereian)?

RPD housed unique fashions.  I loved how different Ariel’s designs were.  She was also among my first Fashion posts (read here).  But sadly there has not been a peep heard since December.  Her blog remains unupdated (http://rising-phoenix-designs.blogspot.com) and the store has not seen any changes as well.  Where’d she gooooooo?

Naughty Designs was simply decadent.  Lost and Amby had a hand (and a refined one at that!) in the greatest ends of fashion:  clothes, hair, skin.  Having pulled all of their masterwork together into one sim mall, it looked they were ready to take off.  And then…..nothing.  It just stopped.   The blog has not been updated since June of last year (http://naughtydesigns.squarespace.com) and there have been no changes of notice seen at the mall housing their creations.  My skin is from ND (gifted from a friend) and I had dropped a notecard on both Amby and Lost in hopes of obtaining the remainder of the set.  But I have not heard anything nor confirmation that the notecard has been received.  Where did these brilliant minds go?

Anyone know where these people are hiding?  Are they ok?  Are they still around in another form?

Inquiring minds is thirsty to know!!!!
